Use this motor for parts, use it as-is if you can; either way you're saving a lot over brand new. As you can see from the pictures, motor has been modified; mounting tabs have removed. Aside from the above mentioned issues, this motor is essentially new.

There is also some adhesive residue remaining on the bottom from prior installation. It was ran for less than 5 minutes after installation testing. Since the motor was modified, it no longer has Ametek 1 yr warranty.
